YOUR INFORMATION

Privacy policy

Updated September 15, 2026

Your lesson ledger is yours. LessonBalance is designed to work offline, without an account or a server that holds your client records.

Who is responsible

LessonBalance and lessonbalance.app are published by Yurii Koshkin in Spain. For privacy questions or requests, contact support@lessonbalance.app.

What stays on your device

Client names, group membership, lesson schedules, attendance outcomes, package balances, makeup credits, notes and correction history are stored in the app’s local storage. We do not upload this lesson content to our servers or send it as product analytics.

You decide which information to record. Please avoid entering sensitive information that you do not need for managing lessons. If your clients include children, use only the minimal information needed for your own records.

Exports and backups

When you export a statement or backup, or share a PDF, text or CSV file, that copy goes to the app, person or storage location you select. Review it before sharing. Those destinations have their own privacy practices. Device backups may include app data according to your Apple settings.

You can erase the local ledger in Settings. Erasing it cannot remove copies you previously sent or saved outside the app. Limited local preference and purchase-access markers may remain to preserve your analytics choice, the free allowance and the one-time review-request limit.

Purchases

Apple processes in-app purchases and restores. The app uses verified StoreKit entitlement information to provide paid access. We do not receive your card number or banking details. Apple’s own terms and privacy information apply to its purchase services.

Product analytics

TelemetryDeck is integrated for a small set of product-usage and purchase-flow events. Sending is disabled in the current pre-release build while production setup is being completed. We will keep this policy and the app’s Settings consistent with the behavior of the released version.

When enabled in a release, these signals describe broad actions, such as setup completion, recording a lesson, viewing an offer or a purchase/restore outcome. They do not include client names, notes, lesson dates, balances, file contents, receipts or transaction identifiers. Technical context can include app/build version, operating system, device type, language and region, along with the SDK’s pseudonymous identifier and session information. Read TelemetryDeck’s privacy information.

Analytics are not used for advertising or tracking you across other companies’ apps and websites. The app provides an analytics choice in Settings and preserves a previous explicit refusal. Local tests, simulator sessions and screenshot runs must not count as production usage.

This website and support

This website uses no advertising cookies or third-party marketing trackers. Hosting and email providers process the technical information needed to deliver pages, protect the service and route support email, such as network requests and email headers.

If you email support, we receive your address and the information you choose to send so we can respond. Do not send passwords, payment details or a client ledger unless a minimal, anonymized example is necessary. We keep support correspondence only as long as needed to address the request and meet applicable obligations.

Your choices and rights

You control local records, exports and the analytics setting. Contact support to ask about access, correction, deletion or other applicable data rights. Because we do not hold your local lesson ledger, we cannot retrieve it for you. You may also raise a concern with your local data protection authority.

Changes

We may update this policy when the app or its data practices change. The date above identifies the latest revision.
