Terms of use

LessonBalance helps independent teachers and coaches keep attendance and prepaid lesson-credit records.

Apple’s standard EULA

The iOS app is licensed under Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement (EULA). These product explanations do not replace that agreement or limit mandatory consumer rights.

A ledger, not a payment service

You are responsible for the records you enter, your policies and checking the results. LessonBalance records lesson credits; it does not collect client payments, verify bank transactions, provide accounting advice or issue tax invoices. Agree cancellation and makeup arrangements directly with your clients.

Free use and upgrades

The initial free allowance covers three lifetime-created clients with the complete lesson workflow. Archiving, deleting, restoring a backup or erasing the ledger does not reset this allowance. An upgrade allows a larger roster.

Existing records remain available to view, correct and export if paid access expires. Monthly or annual subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase may be offered in the app. Only the products and localized prices shown in Apple’s purchase confirmation are available for purchase.

Subscriptions and lifetime access

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled in your Apple account settings before renewal. Apple processes payment, taxes and purchase confirmation. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your device’s Settings under your Apple Account → Subscriptions. Removing the app does not cancel a subscription.

A lifetime purchase is a one-time unlock for this app, not a subscription or a promise that every future product or service is included. Use Restore Purchases with the Apple account used for the original purchase. For refunds, use Apple’s Report a Problem service; eligibility is determined by Apple and applicable law.

Local data and sharing

Keep backups of important records. Removing the app, erasing its ledger or replacing it with an imported backup can remove local information. Exported copies remain wherever you chose to save or send them. You are responsible for sharing client information appropriately.
